Connecting Gwinnett County Leadership

Updated: Jun 24, 2020

By Clint Thompson, Chairman of the Board

Since 2013, the Gwinnett Leadership Forum (GLF) has engaged with local professionals to develop leadership principles, ideals and values that we believe make Gwinnett County a stronger community. We have used bi-annual breakfast events followed by roundtable discussions to help develop relationships and share life lessons amongst our participants. We understand from the people we serve that our breakfast events and subsequent roundtables provide valuable networking opportunities, training that is taken back and provided to the organizations they serve and most importantly the foundation of relational development across our county.

What we have learned from our followers and advisors is that twice a year events have been a great way to initiate our relational development goals, but in order for us to do our very best at building relational equity in our community we need to engage more frequently and more broadly across the entire county. As a result, you will start noticing a higher level of engagement from us and we will be expanding our efforts across generations and with more diversity. This will include our school systems, other like-minded non-profit organizations, veterans’ groups, and any other affiliations that will help us build strong relationships in every part of our community. If you are interested in partnering your organization with the Gwinnett Leadership Forum, please contact us here.

We are preparing for our next leadership forum breakfast in September and we are very excited to have Charlie Paparelli as our guest speaker. Charlie is a well know entrepreneur and investor in the Atlanta area and is an expert in building relational communities, particularly in the IT sector. We hope that you will be able to join us at this event on Friday, September 18 from 7:30AM-9:00AM to learn about how our organization is working to make Gwinnett County a better place to live, work and play. Register to attend the event here.
